About Elise Kamp
Dr. Elise Kamp is a licensed clinical therapist who has been in practice for over 20 years. She specializes in working with adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, relationship concerns, and adult ADHD.
Dr. Elise draws from multiple evidence-based modalities— CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and compassion-focused approaches and tailors them to each client’s needs. She emphasizes understanding patterns from past experiences while also helping clients develop practical tools for coping, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships.
She values creating a safe, collaborative, and supportive space, fostering self-reflection, healing, and growth. Her approach balances intellectual insight, such as exploring unconscious patterns or cognitive reframing, with experiential and skill-based interventions, such as emotional regulation and self-compassion practices. The result is therapy that is both transformational and sustainable. I aim to help clients not just manage symptoms but also gain lasting emotional resilience and self-understanding.
