About Aaron Smith
Dr. Smith is a licensed psychologist who blends compassion, expertise, and practical strategies to help clients navigate life’s most challenging moments. He earned his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his master’s degree in counseling from Michigan State University. He also completed specialized training in Health Psychology and has extensive experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
Across his career, Dr. Smith has worked in diverse hospital and psychiatric settings, including Tarzana Treatment Centers, University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, American Family Children’s Hospital, and the Wisconsin Psychiatric Institute and Clinics. These experiences have shaped his holistic, integrative approach—one that considers how physical health, emotional wellness, behavior, and cultural background all intersect to influence daily functioning.
